PSNI seek the owner of recovered stolen digger

Police in Northern Ireland are seeking the public’s assistance in trying to identify the owner of a suspected stolen mini digger.

PSNI Officers in Lisnaskaea, Co Fermanagh conducted a search of a property in the Curryann Road area of Maguiresbridge on Monday, November 7.  During the search police recovered two mini diggers.  One of the diggers has been identified as having been stolen in the Republic of Ireland in June 2015.

 A 49 year old man who was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen property was subsequently released on Police bail pending further enquiries.

 Police would appeal to anyone who recognises the diggers or anyone with any information about the identity of the owner to contact officers in Lisnaskea on 101 quoting reference number 828 07/11/16 or call + 44 2890 650222 from the Republic.
