Referendum

Dear Madam, Well done to the people of Kinlough and sorrounding areas who voted no in such large numbers to what the Government called the Stability Treaty. Well done also to everyone else in Leitrim and across the country that voted no.

Dear Madam,

Well done to the people of Kinlough and sorrounding areas who voted no in such large numbers to what the Government called the Stability Treaty. Well done also to everyone else in Leitrim and across the country that voted no.

Those of us who campaigned for a no vote in North Leitrim can see from the result that less than one in three of the electorate have been hoodwinked by a cocktail of lies, threats and scaremongering into voting yes.

The people were told by the yes people that they were voting for stability, when in actual fact it looks like there is only more political and economic chaos on the way.

The promise of stability will prove to be an illusion.

Yours etc.,

Thomas Kelly,

Kinlough.
