Carrick in the 1940s

Dear Madam,

Dear Madam,

Gregory Dunne’s piece on the right hand streets of Carrick-on-Shannon in the 1940’s was fascinating and reminded me about how buildings change hands but retain their essence because of who and what they were and still are.

I dearly hope Greg will continue his writings about a left hand side and any other sides of Carrick he conjures up such great images of.

Yours sincerely,

K Nolan.

Caldra House,
