Gan Ainm is set to perform live at Coleman Music Centre on August 30

Gan Ainm, a four-talented young musician from Leitrim and Roscommon, performs live at Coleman Music Centre, Gurteen, Sligo, on Wednesday, August 30, at 8pm.

Gan Ainm is establishing quite a reputation locally and further afield for its high-quality playing and high-energy delivery of traditional tunes.

The members Fiachra Guihen, Katie Moreau, Tara Noone and Louise Gaffney are all accomplished players who can turn their hands to any music but are joining us for a night of outstanding traditional Irish music.

Early bookings are advised.

The very talented young musicians have been sharing songs and tunes throughout the northwest over the last four years.

With Katie Moreau on flute, Louise Gaffney on whistle paired with the voice and concertina talents of Tara Noone and all accompanied by Fiachra Guihen on guitar. They've hit huge milestones, including releasing Across Lands, their debut album, winning the inaugural North West Talent Contest and raising over €1,500 from their fundraiser for the North West Hospice.

Gan Ainm blends a mixture of musical styles rooted in traditional Irish music.
