Gaelscoil Chluainín is set to receive an additional class, a sensory area and an outdoor soft play area
Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan has warmly welcomed funding announced by the Minister for Special Needs Education, Hildegard Naughton to facilitate the addition of a special class at for children with special education needs alongside a sensory area and outdoor soft play area at Gaelscoil Chluainín.
The exact amount of the grant is not released due to procurement rules.
“This is good news for the community, hopefully work on procurement can be advanced as soon as possible and that there won’t be any major disruption to pupils in the classrooms and work commences before the end of 2024.
“In conclusion I wish to congratulate the school principal and the board of management on their successful application," concluded Deputy Feighan.
