A number of Nollaig na Mban events were held around Leitrim including Leitrim ICA federation hosting a meal in Lough Rynn and a Ballinamore-based ukulele group raising €1,140 for Women’s Aid.

The Ballinamore Ukulele Group Singers (B.U.G.S.), which is run by local woman Susan Rowland, hosted the event at McGirls recently to mark Nollaig na mBan, combining live music with an important cause.
