WATCH: Leitrim people left 'speechless' after being asked this question on the street

A lighthearted promotional video by a well-known Leitrim company has left locals - quite literally - lost for words.

In the viral clip which has racked up over 130,000 views while doing the rounds on TikTok, an interviewer approaches people on the street and in a shop in Drumshanbo with a seemingly simple question: "What's your favourite thing about Leitrim?"

Cue a series of hesitant faces, long pauses, and a chorus of "Ehh..." as the unsuspecting interviewees struggle to come up with an answer.

One man, however, doesn't hesitate, delivering a brutally honest "nothing". 

Just when it seems that no one can muster up a response, the video takes a clever turn. 

The interviewer leans in to whisper in a young man's ear before he confidently replies: "The Shed Distillery by PJ Rigney."

The tongue-in-cheek ad has sparked plenty of laughs online, with viewers praising the clever marketing stunt by the producers best known for their Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin.
