GALLERY: Flooding collapses bridge near Leitrim border

On Monday, around 12:30, the Mullaghboy Bridge on the road from Gowlan to Glangevlin in Co Cavan collapsed following flooding in the area. The bridge, which is close to Dowra and Glenfarne, fell through into the middle of the stream below. Local diversions are in place and the Council said that diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
