Deaths in Leitrim -  December 7, 2016 - updated

The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Delia Doherty (nee Cunningham), Annaghearly, Kilclare, Carrick-on-shannon, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Mountbellew, Co. Galway.

Peacefully at her home (formally of Mountbellew, Co. Galway). Predeceased by her loving husband Pat. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Liam (Longford), Michael (Annaghearly), daughters Mary Mc Hugh (Fenagh), Eileen Vaughan (Melview Longford), daughters-in-law Carmal and Anita, sons-in-law Eugene and Jimmy, grandchildren, Sarah, Alan, Darragh, Laura, Amy, Aidan, Cliodhna, David, Colin, and Aoibhe, sister Polly Carroll, (Mountbellew), brother Michael Cunningham (Dublin), brother-in-law Peter, sisters-in-law Bridie, Agnes and Nancy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at her home this Wednesday evening from 2pm till 9pm and Thursday from 1pm till 5pm family time thereafter please. Remains will be removed to St. Patrick's Church Gowel arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 Noon with burial in Kiltoghert Cemetary.

Aubrey Young, Canons Hill, Killeshandra, Cavan / Carrigallen, Leitrim

Canons Hill, Killeshandra, Co Cavan and formerly of Drumanure, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim, Tuesday 6th December, (peacefully) in the tender loving care of the staff at Southmead Hospital, Bristol in the loving care of his family. Aubrey will be very sadly missed by his parents Tom and Annie, brothers David, Peter and Philip, partner Sarah and her son Aaron, devoted father of Aaron and Aimee, extended family, relatives and his many, many friends.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to Killegar Parish Church Repair Fund and the Intensive Care Unit, Southmead Hospital, Bristol c/o Clive Magee Funeral Director, Ballyhugh, Ballyconnell or any family member.

Tommy Creamer, Drumdarkan, Cloone, Leitrim

The death has occurred of Tommy Creamer, Drumdarkan, Cloone, Co. Leitrim peacefully at Lough Erril Private Nursing Home, Mohill in the loving care of his family. Deeply regretted by his siter Mary (Boston) and Ann (Dublin), brother-in-law, Paddy McCrann (Cloone), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Wednesday arriving to St. Mary's Church, Cloone at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 1.30pm with burial afterwards to Mohill Cemetery. Family flowers only please, dontations in lieu, if desired, to The North West Hosptice c/o McKeon's Funeral Director's Cloone.

Eileen O'Reilly (née Banahan) Cloonkedagh, Kiltimagh, Mayo / Strokestown, Roscommon

Eileen O'Reilly (née Banahan) M.P.S.I. Kiltimagh, formerly of Strokestown, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully, at Castlebar Hospital. Beloved wife of Paddy, mother of Peter and Helen, grandmother of Dáithí, daughter-in-law Breege, son-in-law Dominic, sister Essie, brother-in-law Leo, sisters-in- law Ann and Rene, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at O'Hora's funeral home Wednesday evening between 5pm and 8pm. Funeral Mass Thursday at 12 noon in The Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh. Burial afterwards in Kilkinure Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Mayo Roscommon Hospice or Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.
