The death has occurred of Brendan Duffy, (Thursday 8th December) in the loving care of the staff of Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers, Fr. Larry Duffy (Carrickmacross), Patrick and Peter Oliver (Dublin), sister Anna Byrne (Dunogue), brother-in-law Peter Byrne, nephew Damien, nieces Eilish and Rose, and Rose’s mother Maria.
Reposing at the residence of Anna and Peter Byrne, Dunogue, Carrickmacross today Friday until 8pm. Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Lower Magheracloone. Family Flowers only, donations if desired to Roscommon Palliative Care, care of Deery’s Funeral Directors, Carrickmacross or any family member.
House Strictly Private on Saturday.
Kieran Byron, No. 2 Sugarloaf Manor, Belturbet, Cavan
Kieran Byron, 2 Sugarloaf Manor, Ernehill, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 9th December 2016, peacefully at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving son Matthew, family, relatives and friends.
Remains will be reposing at Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Belturbet tomorrow, Saturday evening, from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Sunday morning to arrive at the Church of Immaculate Conception, Belturbet for 10am Funeral Mass and immediately afterwards to Lakelands Crematorium. House private please.
John McNamee, Church St., Ballinamore, Leitrim / Ballyconnell, Cavan / Newport, Mayo
Formerly Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan and Drumreilly, Co. Leitrim. Recently pre-deceased by his wife Winnie (nee O'Hora). He will be sadly missed by his sons John & Noel, daughter-in-law Helen, grandchildren, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Mortuary at St. Patrick's Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon on Sunday next Dec 11th from 4pm until 6pm. Removal to St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10.00am followed by burial in Annagh Cemetery, Glenhest, Newport, Co. Mayo at 2.30pm approx.
Kathleen O'Reilly, Killeshandra, Cavan / Ballyhaise, Cavan / Leitrim
Kathleen O'Reilly, late of Corglass, Drumeela, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Ballyhaise and Killeshandra, Co. Cavan. Wednesday, 7th December, peacefully at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her brothers; Terence and Peter and her sisters Mary-Ellen and Margaret. Deeply regretted by her brother Michael-Joe (Portland, Oregan, USA) her sisters Alice Folan (Fenagh, Co. Leitrim) Philomena and Anna Rose O'Reilly (Beaumont, Dublin), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Castlemanor Nursing Home on Friday until 6pm followed by Removal to St. Bridget's Church, Killeshandra arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am. Interment afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Drumeela, Co. Leitrim.
Aubrey Young, Canons Hill, Killeshandra, Cavan / Carrigallen, Leitrim
Canons Hill, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan and formerly of Drumanure, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim, Tuesday 6th December, (Peacefully) in the tender loving care of the staff at Southmead Hospital, Bristol in the loving care of his family. Aubrey will be very sadly missed by his parents Tom and Annie, brothers David, Peter and Philip, partner Sarah and her son Aaron, devoted father of Aaron and Aimee, extended family, relatives and his many, many friends.
Aubrey's remans will be reposing at the family home in Drumanure tomorrow, Saturday, from 12 noon until 9pm. Funeral Service in Killegar Parish Church on Sunday afternoon at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.
Due to one way traffic system in operation, a shuttle bus will run from Killegar Parish Church to the residence between 12 noon and 9pm on Saturday. House private at all other times please.

Michael F. Shanley, Monkstown, Dublin / Annaduff, Leitrim
Shanley Michael K. (Monkstown Gate, Dublin and formerly Bornacoola, Co Leitrim and ex Irish Life Assurance), 7th December 2016 (peacefully) in Ferndene Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Frances and loving father of Geraldine, Ciaran and Verona. He will be greatly missed by his family, his sisters Kathleen, Maura, Anita and Patti, his grandchildren Sophie, Paddy, Daniel, Jamie, Michael, Joe, Catherine and Christina and great-grandchild Anna, his sons-in-law Donal and Kieron, daughter-in-law Cliodhna,his great friend Annette and all his relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Charlie and TP.
Removal to the Church of St Michael, Bornacoola, Co Leitrim today arriving at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (10th December) at 11.00am followed by burial in Cloonmorris Cemetery, Bornacoola, Co Leitrim.
Seán Hanly, Lisroyan, Strokestown, Roscommon (formerly Bridgecartron, Ballyfarnon)
Son of the late Mark and Bridget Hanly. Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Roscommon Hospital Hospice and surrounded by his devoted family.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Áine, sons Mark, Seán and Donal, daughters Assumpta, Áine and Bróna, sons-in-law Marco and Declan, daughters-in-law, Lorraine, Paula and Laura, his seventeen grandchildren and Geraldine, sisters Nancy, Mary and Pauline, extended family friends and neighbours, Reposing at Shivnan's Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Saturday evening from 5 p.m until 7.30 p.m. Removal to St. Patrick's Church, Crossna arriving 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery.
