Deaths in Leitrim - December 15, 2016

Recent deaths

The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Lorcán Coyle, Dublin and Camagh, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim

Lorcan Coyle (Mac Cumhaill) of Dusseldorf, Breuilles de Bernay, St Martin and originally from Camagh, Ballinamore Co Leitrim. Died unexpectedly in the University Clinic in Düsseldorf on November 27th 2016. Funeral Mass at 10am on Saturday December 17 in the Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, Raheny Village, with burial afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.

Mick Joe Kelly, Cammagh, Moyne, Co Longford

Funeral Mass at St Mary's Church, Legga today, Thursday 15th at 12 noon followed by burial in Tubberpatrick Cemetery.

Roisin Donohoe, Aughavadrin, Killeshandra, Co Cavan

Roisin Donohoe, Aughvadrin, Killeshandra died on December 13  at the Mater Hospital. Removal this morning,  Thursday 15th at 10.30am to St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for Funeral Mass at 11am. Cremation afterwards at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Kevin Tymon, 13 Tarmon Road, Boyle, Co Roscommon

Died on Monday, 12th suddenly at his residence. Deeply regretted by his loving family, Sadie, Maggie, Mary, James Porick, Thomas and Martin. Funeral Mass this morning, Thursday 15th at 11am in St Joseph's Church, Boyle, burial afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle.

Paddy McCaffrey, Carrowkeel, Rossinver, Co Leitrim

Died tragically due to an accident. Late of 21 Rockdaniel Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. Predeceased by his son Jack. Husband of Helen Dowdican, Corbeg, Tullaghan, Co. Leitrim. Reposing at his residence today, Thursday 15th from 12 noon until 9pm. Arriving at St Aidan’s Church, Ballaghameehan on Friday morning for 11am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in Rossinver Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Mountain Rescue c/o Mc Gloin Undertakers.

John Henry Duke, Aughavore, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim

Peacefully at his Residence surrounded by his Family. Resting at his Residence today, Thursday 15th until 11am. Removal to Carrigallen Church of Ireland today arriving at 1.30pm for funeral service and Commital. Family flowers only donations in lieu to Carrigallen Church of Ireland Repair Fund C/o the funeral Director or any Family Member.

John McCabe, Drumbore, Cloone, Co Leitrim

The death has occurred of John McCabe, Drumbore, Cloone, Co. Leitrim, today December 14 peacefully at Arus Carolan, Nursing Home Mohill. Predeceased by his brother Bernie, sisters; Mary Kate, Maggie, Sarah Ann and Bridget.Sadly missed by his sister Tess, brother Michael, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Funeral arrangements later.

Christy Oates, Dangan, Kilmore, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon

Suddenly at his home. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary Tighe (Cloonloo) and Phyllis Gilhooley (Ballymote), brother Tommy (Marino), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Brady's Funeral Home, Elphin, Friday 16th  from 5.30pm with Removal at 6.30pm to St. Brigid's Church, Dangan arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilmore Cemetery.

Tommy Duffy, Rinnatruffane, Geevagh, Co Sligo

Peacefully in the tender care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital and surrounded by his devoted family. Former employee of Snia, Sligo. Predeceased by his beloved son Tomás and his brother Patrick (Pat) (recently deceased). Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, sons Pat and Declan, daughters Anne and Thérese, son-in-law Lee, daughters-in-law Lorraine and Edel, grandchildren Sadhbh, Cian, Darragh, Noah, and Grace, sister-in-law, brother-in- law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon this evening, Thursday 15 from 4-7pm. Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Geevagh arriving 7.30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Corrig Cemetery.
