The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Margaret (Gretta) Feely (née Gaffney) Dumercool, Drumlion, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon

The death has occurred of Margaret (Gretta) Feely Drumercool, Drumlion, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jackie and sadly missed by her son Declan, daughter-in-law Elaine, grandsons Connor and Peter, sister Josie (Conlon) Crossna, Keadue, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the home of her son Declan and daughter-in-law Elaine today, Tuesday, November 14 from 5pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Drumlion, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in Drumlion Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to Northwest Hospice, c/o Dermot Foley, Foley’s Funeral Directors, Kilmore.

Connor Dinneny, Drumhilla, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Monday, November 13th, in Gotland, Sweden. Much loved son of Michael and Pauline and dear brother of David and Fergal. Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, brothers, wife Sofia, Daughter Aideen, sister-in-law, Maighréad, nephew Tom, Aunts, Uncles, relatives and many friends. Service of Thanksgiving at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm, Requiem Mass Thursday at 11am in St. Brigid’s Church, Killeshandra. House strictly private please.

James McCann, Ballytoohey, Tarmonbarry, Co Roscommon, November 12, 2017, suddenly in the Regional Hospital, Mullingar, sadly missed by his loving sisters Nan (Griffinstown, Kinnegad), Margaret (England), nephews, nieces, brother-in-law and good neighbours and friends. Reposing in the Regional Hospital Mortuary, Mullingar today, Tuesday, November 14, from 4.30pm with removal afterwards at 5.30pm to Whitehall Church, Tarmonbarry to arrive at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass Wednesday (15th November) at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Clondra Cemetery, Co. Longford. Family flowers only please

Loving husband of Kay and loving father of Frank, Brenda and Catherine. May His Soul Rest In Peace. Gerry will lie in repose at The Oratory, Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford today, Tuesday (Nov. 14th) from 4.30pm, concluding with prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Hugh's Church, Ballinagleara on Wednesday at 11.45am for 12 noon Mass of the Resurrection, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Donegal) November 12th. 2017, in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, surrounded by her loving family. Much loved and loving wife of Michael. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sister Jobie (Melbourne, Australia), nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends. Removal from Our Lady’s Hospice today, Tuesday morning (14th. November) to the Church of St. Pius X, Templeogue arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. House Private.

Peter Leo (Pee) Heeran, Gorvagh, Co. Leitrim

The death has occurred of Peter Leo (Pee) Heeran, Aughaboneill, Gorvagh, Co. Leitrim, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, peacefully, at Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by his sister Mary (Ewing) and his brother Michael. Deeply regretted by his nephew Derren, Maggie and grand nieces Mary Catherine, Erin and Ciara, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass today, Tuesday at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Foxfield. Burial afterwards in Fenagh New Cemetery.
