The death has occurred of Sean Sharkey, Cornislehane, Kilmore, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon. Predeceased by his beloved wife Annie and sadly missed by his daughters, Theresa and Mary (O’Hara), sons Brendan (Collooney) and Gerry (England), daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren, Emma, Cian, Conor and Lorraine, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the home of his daughter Mary O’Hara, Woodbrook, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon on Thursday 16th from 3pm to 6pm with removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Dangan, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 17 at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in Kilmore Cemetery.
Helen Farrelly (née Quinn) Greystones, Co Wicklow / Donegal Town, Co Donegal
Farrelly, Helen, (nee Quinn), (Greystones and formerly Water Street, Donegal Town) 14 November 2017 after a short illness at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved wife of Tony and loving mother to Alexander. Sadly missed also by her brothers and sisters,(Charles, Mary, Dominic, Teresa, Liam, Roisin, Eugene, Nora, John and Hugh) and predeceased by parents Peter and Mary B., and siblings, John Bosco and Veronica, extended Quinn and Farrelly families and her wide circle of friends. Reposing at Patrick O Donovan & Son Funeral Directors Ltd., Ormonde Centre Greystones today, Thursday, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with removal on Friday, November 17, to St. Patrick’s Church, Kilquade, Co Wiklow for Funeral Mass at 10.00 a.m. followed by cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross at 12.30 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired to St. Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar and Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.
