Deaths in Leitrim.

The following deaths have taken place in the Leitrim area:

Mary Kiernan (née Lee), Ballymagovern, Ballinamore, Cavan / Leitrim

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Eugene, and son Noel. Deeply regretted by her sons Gerry, Jimmy and John, daughters Mary, Dolores, Mona, Lucy, Patricia, Christina and Claire, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 5 to 9 p.m on Sunday, 26th November, and from 12 to 4p.m on Monday, followed by removal to St Patrick's Church, Kilnavart, arriving at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Lena McHugh (née Lennon), Elphin Street, Strokestown, Roscommon

Peacefully in her 95th year. Pre-deceased by her Husband Denny, Daughters-in-law Rita and Madeleine, Brothers Michael, Jack and Tom, Sisters Sarah, Molly, Delia, Agnes and Peg. Much loved Mother of Michéal, David, Desmond, Aidan, Denis, Cyril, Maeve and Dorothy. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing family, daughters-in-law, Ruth, Angela and Eileen, sons-in-law Peter and Páraic, Aidan's partner Marie, her twenty grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown, on Sunday November 26th from 3pm until 7pm. Removal on Monday, November 27th, to the Parish Church for Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Dr Bernard McGuire, Glebe, Felton Road, Boyle, Roscommon

Died peacefully at his home on the 24th November, 2017. Deeply regretted by his children Catherine, Clíodhna (Doyle), Norann, Colm, Eimear (Cashell) and Mairíde (Brown), their mother, Mary, his friend, Geraldine Daly, his sons-in-law and grandchildren, his brother, Eugene, his sisters Rosemary (Hughes), Nora (Arnold) and Geraldine, and by all his relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at his home on Sunday, 26th November, 2017, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle, on Monday, 27th November, 2017, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial immediately afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle.
