The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:
Maureen Britton (née McMorrow) Glasgow, Scotland and formerly of Meeneymor, Manorhamilton, Leitrim
Removal from Glasgow today Tuesday to St. Clare’s Church, Manorhamilton arriving at 9pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Carmel McTeague Kiltygerry, Ballinamore, Leitrim
Very peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Beloved daughter of Pat Joe and Mary and loving sister of Anthony, Áine, Joseph, Rosemary and Alice. Very deeply regretted by her loving parents, sisters, brothers, niece Ellen, sister-in-law Edel, aunts, uncle and extended family.
Removal from her home,on Wednesday evening 6th June, to St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore arriving at 8.00pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in Oughteragh Cemetery. House strictly private please.
Paul McGarry, Ardakip, Dromahair, Leitrim
McGarry, Ardakip, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim, June 4th 2018, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, Paul ex staff, Leitrim County Council dearly loved husband of Cait (nee Quinn Keadue) and loving Dad of Dermot, Irene, Ronan and Catriona. Sadly missed by his sisters Angela (O'Malley) Trena (Kelly) Margaret (Gallagher) and Mary (McMorrow) his brothers Paddy, Martin and Gerald and the late Michael and Vincent, son-in-law Aidan, daughter-in-law Shakti, grand daughters Lema, grandsons Luke and Ryan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home on Tuesday until 10 pm. Removal on Wednesday to St. Mary's Church, Killenummery for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am. Burial afterwards in Creevelea Abbey New Cemetery. House private on morning of funeral. Family flowers only donations, if desired, to Palliative Care, Sligo University Hospital.
Patrick (Pat) Burke, late of Aughamore, Hillstreet, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon
Patrick (Pat) Burke, Toronto and late of Aughamore, Hillstreet, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co.Roscommon. June 1st 2018 (peacefully) in Toronto. Pre-deceased by his brother Tom and sister Mary.Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa, sons Stephen and Rory, daughters-in-law Katherine and Sheri, grandchildren Alyssa, Hailey, James, Olivia and Sarah, brother Charlie (Aughamore), John (Carrick-on-Shannon), sister Bernadette Fitzmaurice (Aughrim), sisters-in-law Pearly and Bernadette, brother-in-law Peter, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass in St.Mary's Immaculate Church, Toronto on Wednesday 6th June at 10 o'clock with burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday morning 9th June at 11 o'clock in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Aughrim.
Margaret (Maggie) Glancy, Townabo, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon
The death has occurred of Margaret (Maggie) Glancy of Selby, North Yorkshire who died on May 14th. Predeceased by her husband Sean Glancy formerly of Townabo, Carrick-on-Shannon,Co. Roscommon. Sadly missed by her daughters Mary, Celia, Alice and son John, brother, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. Funeral Mass on Wednesday 6th June at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards to Aughrim Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
Veronica Quinn (née Fay) Turtulla, Harristown, Ardee, Louth / Belturbet, Cavan
Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, after being wonderfully cared for by Moorhall Lodge, Nursing Home, Ardee. 3rd June 2018. Veronica beloved wife of the late John Desmond (Des) dear mother of Callan, John, David, and Stephen. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters in law Helen, Linda, Martina and Carmel, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers Gerald, and Alf, sisters, Dolle, and Dor, extended family relatives and friends.
Reposing at Moorhall Lodge, Ardee from 4pm until 8pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.45am to Church of Nativity Ardee, arriving for Mass 11am. Burial afterwards in Staghall Cemetery, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, at approximately 2pm.

Joseph McShea, Daly Park, Belleek, Co. Fermanagh and formerly Tully, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. June 4th 2018, beloved husband of Eileen and dear dad of Dean (Carly), Tara (Adrian), loving Granddad of Kealan & Aoife.
Reposing at the family home on Wednesday from 11.00am until 10.00pm and Thursday from 11.00am until 9.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday morning in Saint Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon at 11.00am followed by Interment in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Belleek.
Very deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, mother, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and large family circle. Family flowers only, donations to Marie Curie Nurses c/o Patsy McCauley Funeral Director. Family Time on Friday Morning. Please note those attending wake please use Saint Patrick's Church car park.
