The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

Berney McMorrow, Augharrow, Tullaghan, Leitrim

Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital in his 94th year. Reposing at the home of his son Micheàl, Augharrow on today Wednesday (26/9) from 6pm until 10pm and on Thursday (27/9) from 12 noon until 6pm. House private after 6pm on Thursday please.

Removal on Thursday evening to arrive at St. Aidan's Church, Kinlough at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (28/9) at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough.

Pat Masterson, Antfield House, Aughamore, Carrick-on-Shannon

Patrick Masterson, Antfield House, Aughamore, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, September 24th 2018. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.

Reposing at St. Patrick's Hospital, Carrick on shannon on Wednesday from 4pm to 6pm with removal to St Mary's Church, Annaduff to arrive for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 12 noon with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Jimmy Finnegan, Drumshambo South, Mohill, Co Letrim

The death has occurred of Jimmy Finnegan, Drumshambo, South Mohill, Co Letrim, Late of Fiddane, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co Galway. Deeply regretted by his Sons Jim, Martin and Tony. Daughter Catherine, Son-in-law, Daughters-in-law, Grandchildren, Sister Mary, Brothers Paddy and Mattie, Sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends

Funeral arriving at St Joseph's Church, Kilkerrin on Wenesday evening at 7pm. Mass on Thursday at 11am with burial afterwards in Kilkerrin Graveyard. May his gentle soul rest in peace

Patrick Hanley, Clooncorick, Carrigallen, Leitrim / Newcastle West, Limerick

Father of Geraldine Whelan, Kivvey, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim. Reposing At His Daughters Residence tomorrow Tuesday from 3pm until 8pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock in St Mary's Church, Drumeela followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Family Flowers only, donations in lieu to Carrigallen Community Care Centre.

Joe Meehan, Dernahemrick, Rossinver, Leitrim

The death has occurred of Joe Meehan, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Sadly missed by his brother James (Sydney, Australia), sisters Mary (McMorrow) (Rossinver), Margaret (McLoughlin) (Riverstown), Kathleen (Mulligan) (Strandhill, Sligo), brother-in-law (Aidan), nephews, nieces, relatives, good neighbours and friends. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am Wednesday at Saint Aidan's Church, Ballaghameehan, burial to follow in Rossinver Cemetery.

John (Sonny) Moore, Cleenrath, Aughnacliffe, Longford

In his 85th year peacefully at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Anna-Teresa Moore and sister Margaret (Maggie) Igoe/Kelleher, Killoe. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Mary, sons Michael and Declan and daughters Mairead and Sharon, daughters-in-law Anna and Eva, son-in-law Finian and grandchildren Nicholas, Ella, Patricia, Robin and Irene, nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence Wednesday evening from 6pm to 10pm with Funeral Mass Thursday at 11am in St. Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private Thursday morning. Family flowers only.

May they all Rest In Peace.
