Deaths in Leitrim - Wednesday October 3, 2018

The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

Kathleen Cluttingham (née Fowley) Gortnagrellagh, Glencar, Leitrim

The peaceful death has occurred in Ipswich, England.Sadly missed by family in Ireland and England. Rest in Peace. Funeral will take place in England.

James Durneen, Largantemple, Lurganboy, Manorhamilton, Leitrim

James Durneen, Largantemple, Lurganboy, Co. Leitrim peacefully at his home. Deeply regretted by his daughter Emily, sons Thomas and David, daughter-in-law Linda, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm. Removal to Lurganboy Chapel of Ease to arrive at 7.30pm. Funeral Service on Thursday at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Chapel of Ease. House private please.

Michael (Mickey) Mannion, Woodbrook, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon / Kiltormer, Galway

Mickey Mannion. Woodbrook, Carrick on Shannon, Co Roscommon and late of Kiltormer, Co.Galway. 2nd October, 2018. Peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo. Husband of the late Rose. Much loved father of Martina, Phillip, Michelle and Vivienne. Mickey will be sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law John and Mark, brothers-in-law Eddie and Michael, sister-in-law Mary, grandchildren Alison, Conor, Eva, Liam and Maeve, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin on Thursday (4th October) from 5 o’clock with removal at 6.30 o’clock to St. Michael’s Church, Drumlion. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Drumlion Cemetery.

Vera Sheerin (nea McShea) Bundoran, Donegal / Ballyshannon, Donegal

Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.Removal to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Bundoran Wednesday for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Cremation Service in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at approximately 2pm on Wednesday.

Tommy Gilleran, Bunnamucka, Strokestown, Roscommon

Peacefully at U.C.H.G. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing brothers Micheal and John Francis, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Funeral Mass Wednesday, October 3, at 11am. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Pauline O'Rourke (née Mulleady), Windmill Road, Elphin, Roscommon

Suddenly) at her home. Pauline will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Olivia, Sandra and Siobhan, son Gerry, sons-in-law Gerry, Andy and Michael, daughter-in-law Marita, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Kitty and Olive, brothers Micheal and James, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Brady's Funeral Home, Elphin tomorrow, Wednesday (3rd October) from 4.30pm until 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Patrick's Church, Elphin arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please.

Kathleen Donlon (née Boyle) "Rathcor", Ardnacassa, Dublin Road, Longford Town, Co Longford / Omagh, Co Tyrone

Kathleen, formerly of Omagh, Co. Tyrone, beloved wife of the late John and dear sister of the late Chris and Fr. Jim. Kathleen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, son Brian, daughter Jean (O’Gorman), daughter-in-law Mariel, son-in-law Cormac,grandchildren Evan ,Cillian,Lorna and Ethan ,brothers Cullen, Eugene and Andrew, sisters Molly, Joanna, Nora and Gertrude, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and wonderful friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Thursday to arrive at St. Joseph’s Hospital Chapel, Dublin Road for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to The Regional Hospital Mullingar MRI Scanner fundraising appeal at or any family member. House private on Thursday morning please.
