Margaret Cunningham - Aughavas, Co Leitrim
The death has occurred of Margaret Cunningham (née McGirl), Kilmakenny, Doogra, Corriga, Aughavas, Co Leitrim and formerly Corduff, Cloone, Co Leitrim on Saturday, March 5th, peacefully at Our Lady's Manor Nursing Home, Edgeworthstown, after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her loving husband Bernard (Bernie) and her brother James. Margaret will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her adoring family, son Brian, daughters Mary (Dublin) and Una (London), daughter-in-law Yvonne, sons-in-law Bernard Corrigan and Quentyn Taylor, grandchildren Bláithnáid, Rían, Ellie and Enda, sisters-in-law Margaret and Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Molly Prior (nee Fox), Lisacarn, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim
Molly Prior (nee Fox) died on Sunday 6th March, peacefully, surrounded by her family in the wonderful care of the staff at Ballinamore Nursing Unit, in her 98th year. Predeceased by her Husband Paddy, daughter Maureen, sons; Micheál & Bernie and also her deceased brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by her sons; Patsy, Myles, Tommy & Killian, daughters; Nonie, Kathleen, Bridie, Siobháin, Geraldine & Angela, her brother Michael (Sydney), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her 32 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends. Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore (N41 TD62) on Monday afternoon from 3.30 until 6.00 pm.
Removal from the Funeral Home at 12 noon on Tuesday proceeding via Lisacarn to St. Patrick's Church, Aughawillan for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm followed by burial in Oughteragh cemetery, Ballinamore. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Patient Comfort Fund at Ballinamore Nursing Unit.
Noel McGowan, Clooncarne, Bornacoola, Co. Leitrim
Saturday, March 5th 2022, peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of the Shannon Lodge Nursing Home Rooskey. Beloved husband of the late Christine and brother of the late Michael, dear father of Jody (Longford) and Bernadette Walsh (Ballinalee), sadly missed by his son and daughter, son in law Martin, daughter in law Cherryl, brother Jody, grandchildren Francine, Kristoper, Mary and Aoife, brothers in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing in Glennon’s Funeral Home Longford on Monday morning from 10am until 11am (walk through only). Funeral cortege will leave the Funeral home travelling via his home in Clooncarne to arrive at St Michael’s Church Bornacoola for Funeral Mass at12 noon followed by burial in Cloonmorris cemetery.
