Johnny Flynn, Lacoon, Glenfarne, Co. Leitrim, peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Sadly missed by his brothers Michael and Cathal, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.Funeral arrangements later.

Colm O'Brien, 38 The Acres, Dromahair, Co Leitrim

Colm O'Brien, 38 The Acres,Dromahair, Co Leitrim. Peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, after a short illness bravely borne with great courage, in the tender care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital and the North West Hospice, Sligo. Beloved husband of Sarah, loving Dad of Megan, Ellie and Lily, son of Michael and Philomena, brother of Fiona and Damian, sadly missed by his parents-in-law, his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Removal from his home on Wednesday, 9th March, to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Killargue, for 12 noon requiem Mass followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. The service will be live streamed on www.lakelandscrematorium.ie. The link to the live stream is at the top of the page and the password is LFH. House strictly private, please. Aidan Maxwell, Darrary, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon

Aidan Maxwell, Bristol, England and late of Darrary, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon, 27th February 2022 (peacefully) in Bristol surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary, sister Mary Molloy (nee Maxwell). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Delia, sons Brian and his wife Jane, Thomas and his wife Eve, Patrick and his partner Seah, daughters Helen, Tracy and her partner Stephen, grandchildren Joseph, Phoebe,Bear (Hugh), brother Michael (Darrary, Carrick-on-Shannon), sister Nancy (Dublin), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends in England and Ireland.

Aidan's funeral cortege will arrive at St. Michael's Church, Drumlion, on Monday, 14th March, for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 o'clock with funeral afterwards to Drumlion Cemetery.So as to keep everyone safe please refrain from hand shaking. The Maxwell family are very grateful for your support and understanding at this time.

Michael Sweeney, Brocklagh, Drumlish, Longford

Michael Sweeney (Ballyedmond, Clonberne, Co. Galway, latterly Brocklagh, Drumlish, Co. Longford, and Birmingham, England) died Sunday 13th February 2022 after a short illness. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen (née Farrell). Michael will be sadly missed by his sons Michael, Liam, Dermot, Patrick, Brendan, daughter Ann, daughters-in-law Dawn and Joanna, grandchildren Mikie, Tomás, Eoin, Cormac and Eléonore, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and his many good friends in Ireland, England and beyond.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, on Friday 11th March, from 10am to 11.30, for immediate family only, followed with removal to St. Mary's Church, Drumlish, for Requiem mass at 12 noon, burial afterwards in the New Cemetery. Family flowers only.

Rhona Prior (née McCormack), Bunrevagh, Aghacashel, Leitrim

Rhona Prior, Bunrevagh, Aghacashel, Co. Leitrim, 6th March 2022, peacefully at home. Sadly missed by her husband, Dominic, her children, Kevin, Conor, Séan, Áine, Oisin and Diarmuid, her parents, Jim and Maura McCormack, her brothers, Gerard and Kieran, her sisters, Patricia, Carmel and Paula, parents-in-law, Thomas and Marie Prior, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours. Funeral Mass in St Brigid's Church Drumcong on Wednesday, 9th March at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Drumcong Cemetery.

Joe Sweeney, Kevinsfort, Sligo Town, Sligo / Roscommon / Dromahair, Leitrim

The death has occurred suddenly of Joe Sweeney. 8 Hillcrest, Stonebridge, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Kevinsfort, Sligo and Corrigeen, Co. Roscommon. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Josephine and his siblings Michael Francis, Carmel and Noel. Deeply regretted by his partner Anna Ryan, his children Carmen McDermottroe (Coolaney), Noelle Galvan (Ballisodare), Joseph (Collooney), Trevor (Castletroy, Co. Limerick), Joanne Lydon (Dubai) and their mother Mary Sweeney (Ballisodare). He will be sadly missed by his partner, children, his much loved and adored grandchildren Alli, Reuben, Sophia, Joseph Sebastian, Jessica, Carter, Megan, Brody, Jonathan, Amelia and Theodore, brother Des (Galway), sisters Mary (Strokestown), Patricia (UK) and Martha (Tulsk), sons-in-law Noel, Simon and Phillip, daughter-in-law Avril, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral will arrive at The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Wednesday afternoon for Requiem mass at 1 pm. Funeral will proceed to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden for burial after. O'Reilly Eva, (late of 9 Rowan Terrace, Newbridge, Co Kildare) – 6th March 2022, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet, Co Cavan. Predeceased by her beloved sister Eleanor and her parents Peter & Anne. Sadly missed and remembered with much love and affection by her cousin Eileen and family, relatives, close friends and wonderful carers. Removal from Lawlor's Funeral Home, Belturbet, on Wednesday morning, 9th March, to St. Eustace’s Dominican Church, Newbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 12pm with burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery.

Formerly of Birmingham, UK, and Cornafulla, Athlone. Following an accident, at University College Hospital Galway. Beloved husband of Doreen and loving father of Philip, Johnny, Damian and Caroline. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife and family, step-sons Darren and Damian, step daughter Caroline, grandchildren, sisters Anne, his twin sister Eileen, Bridget and Mary (all in the USA), brothers P.J., Tony and Walter (Birmingham), nephews, nieces, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown, on Thursday, 10th March, from 6pm to 8pm, followed by removal to Kiltrustan Church. Walk through only. Funeral Mass on Friday, March 11th, at 11am. Burial afterwards in Drum Cemetery, Athlone, to arrive at 2pm.
