Kevin Colton, Kilconny, Belturbet, Cavan

Kevin Colton, Oxford, England formerly of Kilconny, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by his wife Margaret Anne, parents Frank and Ciss, siblings Martin, Gertie, Vera. Suddenly and peacefully at his home in Oxford, England. Kevin will be sadly missed by his son Eric, his brothers Brendan and Leo, sisters Fidelma, Carmel, Pamela and Miriam, sisters-in-law Theresa and Bernadette, relatives, neighbours colleagues and friends. A funeral mass will take place at St. Mary’s Church, Staghall, Belturbet followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Bridget Rose (Bridie) Norton, Ballinamuck, Longford

NORTON Bridget Rose (Bridie) (formerly Ballinamuck, Co. Longford), passed away aged 83 years on 25th February at Kettering General Hospital after many years of ill health. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Eamonn, her sister Philomena, Gerard and all the family in Ireland and friends. Requiem Mass for Bridie will be held at Our Lady of Walsingham Church, Occupation Road, Corby on Friday, 18th March, at 10:00am followed by interment at Shire Lodge Cemetery. Seán McMorrow, Keadue, Roscommon / Annascaul, Kerry / Killargue, Leitrim

Seán Mc Morrow, Keadue, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, Ex. Staff E.S.B., March 12th 2022, peacefully in the tender care of the staff at St. Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair. Pre-deceased by his dear son Hugh, parents Hugh and Annie, sister Maura and infant brother Joseph. Seán will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Bríd (née Pierce, Ballinacourty, Annascaul, Co. Kerry) son Stephen, brother Frank, daughters-in-law Mary and Finnuala, grandchildren Laura, Leanne, Ciara, Daniel and Bláthnaid, great-grandchildren Donnacha and Ellie, cousin Mary Alice. former work colleagues, relatives, his many friends and neighbours. Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will take place in The Church of the Nativity of the B. V. M., Keadue, on Tuesday (March 15th) at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Alzheimers Society of Ireland. Funeral Mass will be available to view on the Kilronan Parish Facebook page. Please adhere to mask wearing, hand sanitising and refrain from hand shaking.

Michael John Croghan, Curcreigh, Elphin, Roscommon / Tulsk, Roscommon

Died, peacefully, at home in Curcreigh, in his 88th year, after a short illness borne with great dignity. Predeceased by his loving wife Molly. Michael John will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sisters, Anne Pitman (York, England) and Una Dolan (Austin, Texas) nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, his wonderful carers and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin on Tuesday afternoon from 1pm. Prayer service at 1.30pm, followed by removal direct to Killina Cemetery (via Curcreigh) for Christian burial at 2.15pm. A Memorial Mass to Celebrate Michael John’s life will take place in St. Catherine’s Church, Killina, at a later date. No flowers, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice online at  or to a charity of your choice.

Maggie McSharry (née Brennan), McDermott Tce, Manorhamilton, Leitrim

Maggie McSharry, McDermott Tce, Manorhamilton, peacefully, in Arus Breffni Nursing Home, Manorhamilton, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her father John, mother Maryanne & sisters. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Vincent, son Pat & Deirdre, grandchild Garvan, brother Seanie, sisters Kathleen & Marion, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Removal to St Clare's Church, Manorhamilton, on Tuesday morning for 11am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Arus Breffni Patient Comfort Fund. Please adhere to mask wearing & social distancing at all times. Funeral Mass can be streamed on
