Minis: Training for Minis started back last Saturday. The training session was light and loose so as not to put any new comers off. Training in September for new boys and girls is free and the idea is for new players to give rugby a try!
Blitzes: Carrick Minis have two early season away blitzes, the first in Longford on 27/09/2014 and the second on 04/10/2014. For these two dates, there will be no training at Keenaghan.
U10s for National Blitz: We are delighted to have received great news that for the second year in a row, our U10s have been selected as one of four clubs to represent Connacht in the U10 National Blitz on October 4, in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. Contact with parents of these players will be made soon. Parents of new players aged 9 years should contact Aidan on 086 3867960 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Youth/Minis: Carrick Youth & Mini Coaches would like any players that have commitments to GAA or any other sport, to meet their commitments with their clubs before returning back to us. We know that these players will be physically fitter and stronger having played sport all summer. Plus, we encourage players to meet their commitments to the full and we look forward to seeing those players committing to rugby during this coming season.
Any new or existing players who haven’t been able to make training so far, or will be delayed starting this season, should contact Aidan on 086 3867960 or email@example.com for Minis, and firstname.lastname@example.org for Youths. Blitzes, games and IRFU registrations are starting early, so if you don’t want to miss out, please get in touch.
