Leitrim connection in Ireland women's team to face England as Nicole Fowley named at out-half

Rugby fever is set to grip the country for the next few months and there is local interest in tonight's clash between the Ireland and England women's rugby teams with Nicole Fowley named at out-half for Ireland.

Nicole's father, Pauric Fowley, a native of Dromahair and played inter-county football for Leitrim, while her mother, Margaret (nee Clancy) is a native of Glenade.

Ireland against England will kick-off at 5pm, today, Friday at Energia Park, Dublin.
