Sligo Park Hotel receives Fáilte Ireland Employer Excellence Silver Award

Sligo Park Hotel is celebrating having been certified as an Excellent Employer for 2023 with a Silver Award at the Fáilte Ireland Employer Excellence Awards.

The inaugural awards, which were held in the Guinness Storehouse in April, recognise businesses that have demonstrated their commitment to making the tourism industry an appealing and rewarding place to work. They are aimed at driving continued improvement in the quality and perception of careers in tourism.

Over 170 tourism businesses registered to participate in the first intake of the Fáilte Ireland programme which launched in September 2022. The programme conducted a survey with staff of participating businesses, and the award-winners were chosen based on this employee feedback.

The Silver Award, which comes after Sligo Park Hotel won certification from the globally prestigious Great Places to Work Programme (GPTW) in December 2022, further consolidates the hotel’s reputation as an excellent employer.
