Two men have appeared before a special sitting of Sligo District Court yesterday evening, March 23, 2019, in a connection with a robbery at a business at Depwater Quay, Sligo.
Garda investigating the robbery which occurred at midday on March 21, 2019, conducted searches and arrested a 19 year old male and a 24 year old male in the Sligo area that afternoon. They were detained under the provisions of Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Ballymote Garda Station.
A car and items connected with the robbery were also seized for examination.
