Tottenham Hotspur coaches will bring the north Leitrim club’s popular roadshow to St. Felim’s Ballinamore on Saturday & Sunday, July 7 & 8, in association with the Community Soccer Academy.
The Roadshow will provide young people with the opportunity to play the game, learn and develop their skills with the flair, fluidity and attacking football that are the hallmarks of Spurs. Over the two days players will be given expert coaching by Tottenham’s Ronnie Jones (UK Development Head Coach) & academy coaches Louis Woodley & Nick Hardy.
Andy David, Head Coach of Leitrim’s own Community Soccer Academy said “Inviting the lads at Tottenham to bring the Roadshow over is an excellent way for the youngsters to improve their skills, test themselves and have fun under the watchful eye of a professional clubs academy coaches.
“The roadshow is open to players of all abilities from the age of 5 to 15 and over the two days the coaches will deliver the latest in technical and skill based drills and also Tottenham’s scouting network will be in operation to assess all players which in itself is an added incentive to work hard and try to impress.”
Players will be coached in ball mastery, technique, accuracy and all other aspects of the game and most of the skills stations are time trial related which will ensure that players go home hungry for more. This is an excellent opportunity for all players to gain valuable experience and first class advice from one of the top clubs in the premiership.
