Weekend temperatures across Ireland expected to soar once again

Temperatures at the weekend are expected to soar once again, according to the latest forecasts.

Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather is predicting plenty of sunshine and temperatures of around 18 degrees to 21 degrees celsius on Saturday and Sunday.

However, some showers can be expected on the Saturday with a chance of some rain on Sunday as well.

High temperatures are expected all week, according to Met Éireann, which has forecast temperatures of 20 degrees and 21 degrees celsius tomorrow (Wednesday May 15) and Thursday (May 16).

Temperatures reportedly fall back slightly on Friday with highs of 18 degrees, with sunny spells and scattered showers.

Met Éireann also predicts it will be dry for the end of the weekend and for the earlier days of next week as we move closer to summer.
