It has been clear and bright so far in Leitrim today, with scattered showers and sunny spells.
This will begin to change as the afternoon goes on, with cloud cover increasing through the early afternoon and more widespread showers developing. Some of these may turn heavy at times, with the possibility of hail, according to Met Éireann.
Temperatures will drop to as low as three degrees tonight but will feel more like minus one, while the highest temperature today will be eight degrees.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with showery spells of rain, easing later as showers become more isolated, accompanied by light to moderate south to southwest winds.
Tomorrow, December 3, will begin with a clear and cold morning, with lows of four degrees Celsius and highest temperatures of eight degrees.
The afternoon will turn cloudy before shifting to light rain and rain showers, with light to moderate southwesterly winds that will freshen later in the day. Rain will persist throughout the night, with a chance of sleet showers as well.
