Heavy downpours expected tonight
Mainly dry and bright at first this morning, apart from the odd shower with frost and icy patches clearing. It will turn cloudier as the day goes on and a band of heavy and persistent rain will move in from the west through the late afternoon and evening in strengthening southerly winds. Afternoon highs of 7 to 9 degrees Celsius.
Wet and windy at first tonight with outbreaks of heavy rain. The rain will give way to scattered blustery showers overnight. Strong and gusty southerly winds, possibly squally for a time, will veer southwest with the passage of the rain and moderate. Lows of 1 to 4 degrees.
