Writer Mary Flood
Author Mary Flood will present and sign copies of her debut novel To Love and Serve at The Reading Room, Carrick-on-Shannon, on Friday, September 19 at 5 p.m.
Mary will also be at the Percy French Hotel Strokestown at 7pm on September 26. The event offers readers a chance to meet the writer behind the poignant story of Irish womanhood in the 1960s, set in towns like Boyle, Sligo, and Carrick-on-Shannon itself.
Flood, who began writing during the Covid lockdown, draws on her personal experiences as a teacher and mother to explore themes of identity, resilience, and societal change.
She warmly invites both current fans and curious newcomers to join her for an evening of conversation and connection.
Signed copies will be available, and all are welcome.
