Calling all artists, designers, musicians, performers and creaters to the launch of Creative Frame on Friday February 5 at 6pm in the Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon.

This event will be a valuable opportunity to see what Creative Frame offers and to meet with different people you may not have met before. On the evening, together with the launch of Creative Frame’s website, there will be Pecha Kucha style presentations with four practitioners representative of the local creative sector in this region. These will include award winning architect and lecturer in DIT Dominic Stevens; singer/songwriter from Carrick Ailie Blunnie who is recording her debut album; visual artist, Ruth Le Gear based in Leitrim Sculpture Centre and Stewart Lawn, Director of the Fab Lab, Manorhamilton.

Pecha Kucha is a social night for creative people to discuss and present their work, held at hundreds of venues all over the world.

Refreshments will be served and the evening will be topped off with some music.

This event is Free, if you are interested in advancing your practice, or want to meet and make contact with peers and other professionals in the sector, come along.

Creative Frame is for professional and emerging practitioners from any arts field. It is a network formed around the ongoing professional development needs of creative sector practitioners and has been developed in collaboration with the community of Leitrim and the wider region.
