Mohill Green Cert Class 2016 are holding a fundraising draw for St Ciaran's Services and the Caring for Conor Fund.
The group who completed a Level 5 Certificate in Agriculture are selling €5 tickets with some superb prizes and local charities.
The draw will be held in Berry's Tavern, Drumshanbo on Saturday, December 17 at 9pm with entertainment.
Conor McGloin suffered an interrupted SIDS when he was 3 months old and as a result has a severe brain injury.
This means that Conor cannot interpret messages from his brain to allow him develop like a normal child.
He is currently part of a programme in the UK which aims to retrain his brain to learn by repetition. This requires intensive work every day. Conor requires full time care and is supported by the Jack and Jill foundation and HSE in his home with his family.
St. Ciaran’s Services is for Children and Adults with Intellectual Disabilities. The centre is raising money to develop a purpose built respite service that will address the current and future needs for children and adults with intellectual disability.
First prize is €500 cash with vouchers, hampers and meals up for grabs.
