Splódar Theatre Company Presents: Téip Dheireannach Krapp (Krapp’s Last Tape) le Samuel Beckett

Ta Téip Dheireannach Krapp ar cheann dena gearrdhrámaí is clúití dár scríobhadh riamh. Léiríodh den chéad uair é in amharclann an Royal Court i Londain i 1958. Is é Gabriel Rosenstock a rinne an t-aistriúchán ón mBéarla agus rinne an t-aisteoir Colm Mac Ghiolla Fhionntain an saothar seo cheana sa Chatalóinis agus i mBéarla. Seo an chéad léiriú den dráma seo i nGaeilge.

First performed in 1958 in the Royal Court Theatre, London Krapp’s Last Tape is one of the most famous short plays of the modern era. This Splódar production is the first in the Irish language. Translated by Gabriel Rosenstock it stars Colm Mac Giolla Fhiontain who has also performed the work in English and Catalan.

Léiríodh Purgadóir den chéad uair i 1938, tamall gearr sular bhásaigh Yeats. Is é Brian Ó Súilleabháin a d’aistrigh ón mBéarla. Sa léiriú seo Is é Colm Mac Ghiolla Fhintain atá i bpáirt an tseanfhir agus is é Tarach Ó Snodaigh an buachaill óg.

Yeats wrote this play shortly before his death. It was first performed in the Abbey Theatre in 1938. This translation into Irish is by the writer Brian Ó Súilleabháin. Splódar staged this work at the 2016 Oireachtas in Killarney
