James Kilbane performs at fundraising event for Indian Mission

Leitrim group present a fundraising evening of Irish song and ballad with country singer James Kilbane for Fr. Francis and mission to India.

James Kilbane will bring his very personal Irish, Folk and Country evening to The Lough Allen Hotel on Saturday, October 20 at 9pm.

The event is in support of the Fr. S. Francis a newly appointed parish priest of Sirunkattur, Vellore in India. Fr. Francis is currently living in Ireland and working in the region but has been requested by the Bishop of Vellore, India to return back to India to help establish a new parish and mission in Cheyyar region of the country which is a very traditional part region there.
Requests are made now to help fundraising for the new work of Fr. Francis and to help establish his new journey in India.
On Saturday, October 20 the James Kilbane concert is just one part of fundraising and activities taking place to help support Fr. Francis’ new mission.

All support would be appreciated from far and wide for this event. This will be an enjoyable night of ballad, folk and country with James Kilbane and it will be a very personal intimate evening different to Kilbane’s other Christian concert events.
James is well know for singing Irish, country and folk song that he will include many Irish classics as the Fields of Athenry, Danny Boy, Grace, Forty Shades of Green as well as songs from his latest release “The Family Collection” including There is a place, Mama’s Roses, The Richest Man, The Nazarene Song and so many more.

Since 2004 James Kilbane has continued to develop with 13 albums released to date. He works closely with communities and groups all over Ireland and America. Today his music is growing far and wide in such countries as Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South America as well as America, the United Kingdom and Canada.
