Book presentation in The Glens

The Glens Centre are having a number of interesting events coming up in The Glens Centre, Manorhamilton.


Celebrating the contribution of the Protestant community in promoting the Irish Language will be marked on March 2 starting at 7pm.
A new bi-lingual book will be launched Irish in the Church of Ireland, with Caroline Nolan, Church of Ireland Irish Language Officer. There will be a screening of Mná Na nGlinntí by Mary McAleese and a discussion by historian Séamus Mac Annaidh.

An interactive workshop with The Rabbits Riot Theatre Company will explore rights and consent in a cyber world on March 19 at 5.30pm.
Duo Treasa and Sonia of Rabbit’s Riot Theatre Company wish to raise awareness around the internet and safety online and are offering an interactive workshop exploring young women’s experiences on social media.


Something different is a photography workshop Selfies & Me by Rachel Webb on Tuesday, March 12 from 7-9.30pm. Spaces are limited.
