Carrigallen and Drumeela Active Age continue to be very ‘active’! We have recently completed our ten week Yoga Course – a big thank you to Julie Smith, our Instructor. All of us who attended the Course are feeling the benefit, both physically and mentally.
Maintaining all that physical activity we are planning a visit to the 10 Pin Bowling Ally in Longford later this month; and a short time ago twenty two of our members got great pleasure from a night out at ‘the dogs’ in Mullingar. Not too much physical activity for us there, but some of us had a profitable night out, and we all enjoyed the dinner!
Planning is well ahead for some day trips, and suggestions for our three day break later on this summer are under discussion – Maura O’Rourke, our new Social Secretary, has it all well in hand!
