Fundraising jumble sale for animal charities in Sligo

Attention animal lovers! A fundraising jumble sale will be held in Sligo on Easter Saturday, March 30th. The beneficiaries will be three local animal charities - the Sathya Sai Sanctuary for donkeys and ponies (Castlebaldwin), Kath’s Kitty Corner (Ballymote) and Sligo Animal Rescue (Skreen/Dromard).

The venue will be the now-vacant shop unit next door to the Adelaide Bar, in Wine St. Car Park. People have been enormously generous, donating loads of good quality items, but the more the merrier! We also need people to help out on the day - running the sale, handing out flyers on the street, setting up, and tidying up afterwards. Nothing is too little, and even if you can only help for half an hour or so, that would be great. We can be contacted at 086 3421192, or 085 7318162. We also have a Facebook event page, “Easter Jumble Sale, Sligo - in aid of local animal sanctuaries”.
