According to today's figures by the Irish Nurses and Midwives' Organisation, there are 33 patients on trolleys in Sligo University Hospital today, Wednesday.
The Midland Regional Hospital, in Mullingar has 24 patients on trolleys and Cavan General Hospital has 5.
The overall national total for today is 554 patients on trolleys throughout the country.
