According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, there are 27 patients on trolleys in Sligo University Hospital today.
In other hospitals in the region, Cavan General Hospital has 5 patients on trolleys while the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar has 27
Nationally, the overall total of patients on trolleys stands at 664.
