Glenfarne/Glenboy Group Water Scheme

The annual Household Water Maintenance Charge is now due and will be collected during May. At a well attended AGM in March members agreed: (1) to increase the Household Water Maintenance Charge from €100 (last collected in 2011) to €150, payable annually before the end of May. (2) Policy and procedures for dealing with the small number of members in arrears would be put in place as a matter of urgency and communicated to all (just under) 400 households/members in the near future.

Playing For Sam

Fermanagh are to welcome All Ireland finalists Mayo to Brewster Park on Saturday May 4 at 6pm for a pre-Championship friendly meeting in aid of the Sam Bradley Care Fund. Sam is a 21 month toddler from Bellanaleck, Enniskillen who is currently undergoing treatment for a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Sam is the grandson of John McHugh formerly of Moneenlum, Glenfarne who currently lives in Kiltimagh, Co Mayo. For more detail see

The annual Kilmore Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from 27th May to 1st June led by Bishop Leo O’Reilly. Rainbow Plans

The plans for the renovation of The Rainbow are now available to view via a link on The Rainbow Ballroom of Romance Facebook page. We are hopeful that the project will start in early May and will be completed before the end of the year with facilities for all age groups. The next phase of works will complete the project and include: A fully functional community centre; Tourism Information Centre; Museum of Showband Memorabilia.
