15 year old Aoife Duignan from Arigna is this year's winner of the All Ireland Teenstars talent competition.

Aoife, who is a student at Drumshanbo Vocational School astounded judges and the audience with her rendition of “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman Musical.
Aoife won the Senior category in the Scientology Community Centre in Dublin last weekend and won €1,000 in prize money as well as a chance to record her own single.

The determined teenager came third in the competition last year but wanted to win in out as she hopes it will give a good kick start to a possible career in the music industry.
The judges awarded her 590 out of a possible 600 points.

Aoife wants to be a singer and the competition final was attended by talent scouts and was filmed by Junior Eurovision and RTE Junior.
Aoife's family say she was born to sing and spends every waking moment singing.

Aoife took to social media after being awarded the crown to say thank “everyone involved for making it the most fun two years for me and all the support I received. After all the knock backs it was the best feeling.”

Teenstars has been at the forefront of the Pre-Teen and Teenage Singing contest in Ireland since 2012. Winners have had success appearing on X-Factor, Voice of Ireland, Voice UK, Voice Kids, Britain's Got Talent, Eurovision, Junior Eurovision and even the Late Late Toy Show.
