McGahern ‘Barracks’ handed over

The former Garda Barracks in Cootehall, made famous by Leitrim author John McGahern, was officially handed over to the Cootehall Community Development Group on Tuesday morning by Minister for State, Brian Hayes TD, on behalf of the OPW, to establish a John McGahern library, reading room and garden.
