Sligo Regional Hospital extension progresses

Fine Gael T.D. for Sligo North-Leitrim John Perry has welcomed news that the planned extension at Sligo Regional Hospital has progressed to design stage. “The new block extension will consist of a 140 single bed unit, a theatre suite, a radiology department, a new paediatric unit as well as an emergency department. The design team has been appointed and is at initial stage.”

Deputy Perry added “This is good news for health services across the North-West, this extension will be the largest development at Sligo Regional in many years”.
