Easter cake sale and raffle will take place in The Depot, Dromahair on Easter Sunday, March 31st, after 11.15am mass. Accepting all baked goodies from 10am. Also 3 art competitions for local pre-school and school-going children. Proceeds in aid of the upkeep of the Defibrillators in the Ballinagar, Newtownmanor, Dromahair & Kilcoosey areas. Celebrate Easter at Dawn in Killenummery

The Parish of Killenummery and Killery invites you to celebrate Easter with a Dawn Mass at Creevelea Abbey. Holy Mass will be celebrated atCreevela Abbey at 6am on Easter Sunday morning.It will be the first time that a Dawn Mass has been celebrated at the Abbey in recent memory. Creevelea Abbeywas a Franciscan house, founded in 1508 and in use until 1650. It was the last Franciscan Friary consecrated in Ireland before the dissolution of the monasteries in the seventeenth century. It is said that St. Patrick visited Dromahair and built a church on the site of Creevela Abbey, which is marked by a plaque.

The Parish of Killenummery and Killery is the island parish of the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois. Situated in counties Leitrim and Sligo, the parish is approximately two miles from the village of Dromahair. There are three churches in the parish: St. Mary’s Parish Church Killenummery (Ballinagar), St. Theresa’s Ballintogher and St. Michael’s Killavoggy. Fr.
