Carrick-on-Shannon based AvantCard has been voted “Ireland’s Consumer Credit Team on the Year” at the recent ICMT (Irish Credit Management Training) Credit Team of the Year Awards.
The Award recognises the Credit Team at AvantCard and the digital journey which seeks to simplify the customer’s application process.
In a separate event held by the CCMA (Customer Contact Management Association), AvantCard was in the running for two awards.
The Customer Advocate Complaints Team was shortlisted in the highly competitive “Team of the Year” category but it was the in-house Change Project Team who was the winner on the night, competing against a number of blue chip companies to be awarded “Support Team of the Year.”
This team played an integral part in allowing the business to re-enter the Irish market to acquire new customers, with a focus on digital fulfilment and service excellence.
AvantCard’s consumer finance heritage is strong; the team has been servicing customers in Ireland for over 20 years, developing and adapting the business over time.
The Company is headquartered in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim with an office in Dublin.
Having started executing on its new customer growth strategy, it now has approximately 190 staff in Ireland.
