At his recent concert in Lough Rynn Castle, Christy Moore invited Mick Blake from Leitrim Village on stage to sing his original song “Leitrim (a brief history)”.
Christy heard Mick’s song on youtube and asked him along to perform it on the night with Declan Sinnott. Mick Blake said he was delighted for the opportunity to sing with the musical legends in the historic Lough rynn castle.
‘Leitrim’ is a song inspired by actual events, past and present.
