A former school house in Leitrim may be repurposed as residential accommodation.
A planning application proposing the conversion of the school house on Convent Road, Aghadark, Ballinamore into four apartments is set to be decided by January 17.
Built around 1889, the historic building previously served as a national school and more recently operated as an after-school facility.
If approved, the development would breathe new life into the property, transforming it into modern apartments while keeping its heritage.
The building was listed for sale last January for €120,000.
