Greenway
Cllr Ita Reynolds Flynn asked Leitrim County Council to give an update on parking spaces for the Greenway saying that "the spaces are very limited at the Ballinamore/ Corgar Greenway."
The official response noted that additional parking was never intended to be provided as part of these greenway schemes. There is public parking at its commencement next to the Junction. There is a public carpark at the Scouts Den and Sports complex and an area for cars at Corgar, which has been provided for fishermen. There is no parking on the Aghawillin end as it is not the final terminus. Cavan County Council have the brief for the remaining section of the Green way."

Cllr Gary Prior asked if it would be possible to erect a "notice board on the entrance, at both ends, for that greenway, with the map route on it."
He added that a number of fences were damaged along the greeneway by Storm Éowyn. "I know they met some people from the council so I would like to know who is responsible if fences are damaged due to fallen trees?"
Director of Services, David Minton responded said that the maintenance of greenways and blueways does not fall under the remit of the district office or roads section. "It's something Leitrim County Council would have to look at for 2026," he promised.
