Desmond Wisley outside the Russian Embassy yesterday
Desmond Wisley, aged 49 and with an address at Tully, Ballinamore, Leitrim, was charged with dangerous driving and criminal damage at Tallaght District Court this morning.
Mr Wisley appeared in court in relation to the incident at the Russian Embassy in Dublin yesterday, Monday March 8.
A viral video showed the Wisley ecclesiastical supplies transport truck reverse into the gates of the Russian Embassy.
He was granted bail on a number of conditions, including that he stay away from the Orwell Road in Dublin 14, and that he have no direct or indirect contact with any staff member of the Russian Embassy.
Mr Wisley; a married man and father was released on bail to appear in Tallaght District Court on April 26.
