Tributes are being paid after a young woman living in Leitrim passed away at home this week.
Sandra Vaitkeviciene passed away peacefully in her home following a long illness on January 12, 2025.
She was from Drumsna, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Vainutas, Lithuania.
Sandra was surrounded by her loving family, her husband Tomas and her two children Vakaris and Perla, at the time of her passing.
She is deeply mourned by her mother Maryte and sisters Indre and Ernesta. Sadly missed by her mother-in-law Violeta, father-in-law Stasys, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, her colleagues in Lidl, neighbours and her many friends.
Sandra's co-worker expressed her deepest sympathy on a Facebook post made by her husband, that read:

"Tomas, Vikaras and Perla absolutely heartbroken for you all...what a beautiful soul gone way too soon, Sandra will always be remembered, I am blessed and had the pleasure to have worked with her for many years, what a manager and worker she really was one of the best, no more suffering."
