Tributes have been paid to “an absolute gentleman” following the sudden passing of Ciaran Dolan on Sunday, September 28th.
Ciaran Dolan, of Sean White Car Sales, Athlone, formerly of Furnace, Dromod, Co. Leitrim, passed away unexpectedly at Naas General Hospital over the weekend. He was predeceased by his loving wife and best friend, Myra, and his sister Helen Vaughan.
A devoted father to Nicola Reynolds (John) and Nadine Charles (David), Ciaran will be deeply missed by his heartbroken family, including his grandchildren Sophie, Laila, Jack, Sadie, Emmy, Bobby, and Louie, his siblings Patsy Brown, Vincent and Margie Faughnan, brother-in-law Martin Hunt (Doreen), as well as his extended family, colleagues, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

One condolence message described him as “Mannerly Man from a Great Family!
Always Helped Out Our Annaduff GAA Club and A Witty Character and a Pleasure to Meet Always.”
Another message read: “Ciaran was one of those very rare people that you meet just once, but you never forget, such was his impact. A lovely, friendly, down-to-earth man..”
His body will repose at St Mary’s Church in Annaduff from 4 pm until 7 pm on Saturday, October 4th. The requiem Mass for Ciaran will take place in St Mary's Church, Annaduff (N41CF54) at 11 am on Sunday, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
